Tech Innovations for 2012
With the introduction of new technological devices and software addition faster each year, 2012 may prove to be the most inventive yet. Many big names will unveil new products and implement new concepts. The average person may find it amazing and hard to keep up with the ever-changing shop but, the fact is, you don’t have to.
Everyone has extra interests, tech items you must have, try to stay current with. The rest; let slide. It’s impossible to stay on top of every new innovation in our world and it will only get harder. I have chosen a few key features and products to feature in this report as they are pertinent to the changing times. It’s hard to pinpoint with certainty some of the following debuts of 2012, but based on trends of 2011 the evidence suggests that many of these technologies are going to rear their heads this year. One thing for certain, technology is getting more adaptive and associates in 2012 are going to focus on cutting edge innovations and addition the “user experience”.

Let’s start with Windows 8, publish date later this year. Like the most recent Apple Os X Lion, both were advanced with strong ties to their movable counterparts. Even software is going mobile. This is by all means; of course the movable age. Tablets and smartphone purchases continue to grow and sources say by the end of 2012 50% of all people will have a smartphone in their pocket. With advanced digital overlaying apps out there, perfecting augmented reality and allowing smartphone/tablet users an enhanced “virtual experience” in 3D with regard to ads, data and more, the 3D age as a form of marketing has taken on a whole new meaning.
Everyone will be watching tablets this year to see who will dominate. Ultrabooks, inspired by Apple, will be big as well and I expect they will sell well regardless of the tablet craze. There may be as many as 50 new ultrabooks introduced this year with prices close to the 00 mark. The iPad3 debuts next month and will go head to head with the Kindle Fire which provides full features at a fraction of the cost. Dell has discontinued the Streak and Hp has lowered prices trying to push up sales.
What will happen to Tvs? Apple is currently working on a new model and it may come with Siri voice control among other Pc oriented devices. Speaking of voice control and Tv, it is in the works by some associates to replace the remote (what will guys do?). As quoted from Brandon Briggs of Ces, “Panasonic announced a series of Web-connected “Smart Viera” Tvs that will flash your social-networking updates on the screen.” It will give those who want to check their public media accounts while watching Tv an alternative to using their tablets. Tvs are getting more and more involved, but do people truly want it or do they just want to watch Hdtv and leave it at that?
Lastly, I will mention the evolution of flexible screens. Both Samsung and Nokia are currently working on flexible phones, the Nokia Kinetic and Samsung’s Galaxy Skin, which reportedly may be on sale this spring. The phones will finally have the capability to control music, scroll, and zoom in and out simply by twisting the phone. Flexible Tablets are in the works as well which promise to offer revolutionary capabilities. Samsung has a prototype with no scheduled publish date.
2012 promises to be a year of numerous innovative concepts. New ways of interacting with our devices and of improving the user experience straight through voice control, flexible screens, and new operating principles upgrades are sure to bring about a lot of convert for Pc users and movable consumers. movable users continue to grow and technology changes to meet the demands. It’s a whole new era; embrace it, grow with it. It’s a long way back to the days of dia-up and the hereafter is just a 4G 3D virtual step away.
