A recite of the Westinghouse Sk-26H240S
After seeing at a lot of the newer televisions on the market, I decided this time to check out an older Westinghouse model that had been known for matching up with some of the latest mid-range Tvs. The 26H240S might truly be as popular now as it was when it first came out because of the highlight set that is comparable to pretty much any other set that you can find out there right now.
The tuner that is attached to the Westinghouse 26H240S is what makes it special, considering it was made at a time when Hdmi technology was in its infancy. Some habitancy don’t think about what a tuner would have on their Tv or even a computer, but it’s hard to miss the benefits with the one on this set.
Hdtv
The Tv might not be 1080p compatible, but the 720p photograph would probably be good enough for most habitancy because the photograph is quite crisp. Being that it is only 26 inches, I predicted it to look pretty appropriate in many ways, but in fact it came out seeing better than some of the Tv’s I had researched along with this one. Most habitancy will think that movies and games look as nice on this set than on a lot of the ones that you see in the stores right now. That is pretty darn impressive for a Tv that is this old.
As far as viewing angles go, this Westinghouse Tv isn’t the most to watch from the side, but it isn’t quite a bad as some of the other ones that I have checked out. I would advise that anyone who uses it to get more of a central viewing point. Stay within 160 degrees and you will be good to go.
There are some of the issues that I have had with this Tv, but nothing too major.
I had to struggle to navigate throughout all of the distinct menus and settings options and it truly got me to the point of frustration. I did, however, get the hang of it at last and learned that I could have used a bit of a shortcut, so in the end it was probably my personal issue.
This might not match up with some of today’s best Hdtvs. But from all of the low to mid range televisions that I have checked out in modern years, it is worth it for anyone who is trying to save a lot of money while also getting a very decent Tv. In this price range, the only other Tv that I would advise is one from Vizio that has similar features. It would be great for the bedroom or any other small room in the house.
