So you ultimately bought that 32 inch Lcd Tv you’d had your eye on, but now you have a whole other problem to deal with: all of your Dvds are in thorough definition. A gorgeous Hitachi Lcd or Panasonic Lcd Tv is great for watching Hd content, but as many owners find out, it doesn’t do anything at all for thorough definition programming.

Pixar’s Up
One of the most gorgeous animated films ever made, and it’s never looked good than on an Hdtv and Blu ray. If you easily want to get the most out of the wide range of colors your new Hitachi is capable of, this is the movie to do it with.
Apocalypse Now
This excellent has been remastered for Blu ray and surround sound to get you closer to the performance than ever before. At the premier of this film, critics were said to have ducked when they heard the choppers flying overhead in the noted Ride of the Valkyries sequence. You’ll see why when watching this on a 32 inch Lcd with top notch Dolby Digital.

This one’s kind of a no-brainer, but it had to be listed. Mixing computer animation with live performance in an incredibly display of great special effects, Cameron creates a whole new world both on the screen, and in the field of film technology. You’ve got to see this one in Hd at least once.
The Dark Knight
Chris Nolan filmed much of The Dark Knight in Imax, and while a 32 inch Lcd can’t quite recreate that, it does a darn sight good than a thorough definition big screen ever could. Besides which, The Dark Knight is just a great movie, and one of the defining films of our time.
Blade Runner
It seems like once every five or six years, you’re re-buying Blade Runner: the collector’s edition, the director’s cut, the remastered Hd Dvd, well, hopefully this is the last time it’s rereleased as a must-buy. The fact is that high definition television just plain seems to have been invented for the sake of science fiction, and Blade Runner is one of the many sci-fi movies of all time. The futuristic Los Angeles has never come to life good than it does on Blu ray, remastered for excellent photograph and sound quality, you’ll almost feel the rain on your face and smell the electricity in the air. This is why Blu ray and Hd television were invented in the first place.
